On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, the Master of Phytopathology study program held a guest lecture with Yonadita Pramesti, Field Application Specialist from Genetic Science as the speaker.
In this class, we learn about RNA sequencing including its workflow, factors to consider when designing research on RNA sequencing, and applications of RNA sequencing in various fields. RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) is a technology used to understand the transcriptome of an organism, which is a complete collection of RNA transcripts produced by the genome under certain conditions.
