M.Sc. in Phytopathology UGM has a strength to focus on Tropical Phytopathology Problem Solving. It rises from the awareness that tropical climates create specific conditions as well as problems, therefore we dedicate ourselves to become the center of excellence in this study area. In addition, it is also based on the fact that due to differences in socio-cultural and environmental factors, theories in Phytopathology that have been successfully directed in sub-tropical regions cannot be easily applied to solve plant disease problems in the tropics. M.Sc. in Phytopathology UGM was organized by the Department of Plant Protection, Fac. of Agriculture.
